The Pipeline Actions menu gives recruiters control over how to manage candidates in Mokka. These actions, available in the context menu and split-view modal, help you move candidates forward quickly and consistently, including those you've sourced.

⭐ Shortlist

Mark a candidate as Shortlisted when they’re strong enough to move forward. This action is available for all candidates, including sourced candidates, and moves them out of the Sourced tab. Shortlisted candidates remain visible in your ATS once synced.

❌ Reject & Auto-Reject

Reject: Manually move a candidate out of the pipeline when they’re not a fit. This action is available for all candidates, including sourced candidates, and moves them out of the Sourced tab. For sourced candidates, rejection behavior respects your auto-rejection settings.

Auto-reject: Candidates land here automatically if they fail a reject rule set up in application questions.

Important: Failing minimum requirements does not auto-reject candidates — they simply receive lower scores.

⏸ Hold

Temporarily pause a candidate's application for later review or consideration. This action is available for all candidates, including sourced candidates, and moves them out of the Sourced tab.

🆕 Mark as New

Mark a candidate as New to indicate they are freshly added and awaiting review. This action is available for all candidates, including sourced candidates, and moves them out of the Sourced tab.

📤 Sync to ATS

Candidate status changes (Shortlisted, Rejected, Auto-rejected) are automatically synced back to your ATS.

Rejection reasons are mapped to ATS rejection stages when configured during role setup.

🛠 Bulk Actions

Apply actions to multiple candidates at once:

• Bulk shortlist

• Bulk reject

• Bulk on hold

• Bulk move to new

Use filters first (e.g., score band = Low) to bulk reject low-fit candidates in one step.

📌 Tips for Recruiters

Use bulk actions for efficiency, especially in high-volume roles.

Always review flags before rejecting — they highlight potential risks but don’t always mean a candidate is unsuitable.

Use shortlist consistently to build a clear, high-quality pool for hiring managers.
