Compliance Notes for Customers

  1. Timing: This notice must be provided at least 10 business days before the AEDT is used. If included in the job posting before candidates apply, the notice requirement is satisfied at the time of application.

  2. Record keeping: Retain evidence that the notice was provided (e.g., timestamp of display in application flow, email delivery confirmation). Mokka's platform logs notice acknowledgment timestamps automatically for in-platform applications.

  3. Scope: This notice is required for positions located in New York City, including fully remote positions associated with a NYC office.

  4. Alternative process requests: LL144 requires you to provide instructions for requesting an alternative process but does not require you to grant such requests (except where required by disability accommodation laws such as the ADA or NYC Human Rights Law).

  5. Annual audit updates: Mokka commissions annual bias audits. Updated results are published at https://trust.gomokka.com/. No action is required from customers when the audit is refreshed.
