Prerequisites

Before connecting, you'll need:

  1. A Mokka account - Sign up at gomokka.com
  2. Workable Admin access - To authorize the integration

Setup Steps

Open Mokka Settings
  1. Log into your Mokka account
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations
  3. Find Workable in the list of available integrations

Connect with OAuth
  1. Click Connect Workable
  2. You'll be redirected to Workable's authorization page
  3. Log in to your Workable account if prompted
  4. Click Authorize to grant Mokka access to your Workable data
  5. You'll be redirected back to Mokka

Select Jobs to Sync
  1. After connecting, you'll see your Workable jobs
  2. Select which jobs you want Mokka to screen candidates for
  3. Click Enable Screening
That's it!

Mokka will now automatically sync and score candidates from your selected Workable jobs.

Sync Frequency:

  • Initial sync: All existing candidates are synced when you connect
  • Ongoing sync: New candidates are synced automatically (typically within minutes)

Using the Integration

Moving Candidates Through Stages

  1. Open the candidate in Mokka
  2. Review their AI-generated score and interview transcript
  3. Click Move to Stage
  4. Select the target stage (synced from your Workable pipeline)
  5. Click Confirm

The stage change is automatically synced back to Workable.

Disqualifying Candidates

  1. Open the candidate in Mokka
  2. Review their evaluation
  3. Click Disqualify
  4. Select a disqualification reason (synced from Workable)
  5. Click Confirm

The disqualification is automatically synced back to Workable, including the reason you selected.

Adding Comments

Mokka can add comments to candidates in Workable:

  • AI-generated evaluation summaries are automatically added as comments
  • Interview transcripts can be synced as comments
  • Manual comments from Mokka sync to Workable

What Mokka Can Access

When you authorize the Workable integration, Mokka receives permission to:

  • Read job postings and pipeline stages
  • Read candidate profiles and applications
  • Write comments on candidates
  • Move candidates between stages
  • Disqualify and revert disqualifications
  • Update custom attributes

Security

  • Mokka uses OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication
  • You can revoke access anytime from Workable Settings → Integrations
  • All data transmission is encrypted
  • Mokka is SOC 2 Type II certified and GDPR/CCPA compliant

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed
  • Ensure you have Admin access in Workable
  • Check that you clicked "Authorize" on the Workable authorization page
  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
Candidates not syncing
  • Verify the job is enabled for screening in Mokka
  • Check that the candidate has applied to an enabled job
  • Wait a few minutes - sync may be in progress
Stage changes not appearing in Workable
  • Ensure the stage exists in your Workable pipeline
  • Wait 1-2 minutes for sync to complete
  • Check the candidate in Workable to confirm status
Disqualification not syncing
  • Ensure you selected a disqualification reason
  • Verify the reason exists in Workable
  • Wait 1-2 minutes for sync to complete

To disconnect Mokka from Workable:

From Mokka:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find Workable
  3. Click Disconnect

From Workable:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find Mokka
  3. Click Revoke Access
