Prerequisites

Before connecting, you'll need:

  1. A Mokka account - Sign up at gomokka.com
  2. TeamTailor API key - Generate from TeamTailor Settings → Integrations → API
How to Get Your TeamTailor API Key
  1. Log into your TeamTailor account
  2. Click your profile in the top right → Settings
  3. Navigate to Integrations → API
  4. Click Generate new API key
  5. Copy the key (you'll need it in the next step)

Setup Steps

Open Mokka Settings
  1. Log into your Mokka account
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations
  3. Find TeamTailor in the list of available integrations

Enter Your API Key
  1. Click Connect TeamTailor
  2. Paste your TeamTailor API key
  3. Click Save

Select Jobs to Sync
  1. After connecting, you'll see your TeamTailor jobs
  2. Select which jobs you want Mokka to screen candidates for
  3. Click Enable Screening
That's it!

Mokka will now automatically sync and score candidates from your selected TeamTailor jobs.

Sync Frequency:

  • Initial sync: All existing candidates are synced when you connect
  • Ongoing sync: New candidates are synced automatically (typically within minutes)

Using the Rejection Feature

One of the key benefits of the Mokka-TeamTailor integration is the ability to reject candidates directly from Mokka.

To Reject a Candidate:
  1. Open the candidate in Mokka
  2. Review their AI-generated score and summary
  3. Click Reject
  4. Select a rejection reason (synced from TeamTailor)
  5. Click Confirm

The rejection is automatically synced back to TeamTailor, including the rejection reason you selected.

Rejection Reasons:

Mokka uses your existing TeamTailor rejection reasons. To add or modify rejection reasons:

  1. Go to TeamTailor → Settings → Recruitment
  2. Find Reject reasons
  3. Add or edit reasons as needed
  4. Mokka will sync the updated reasons automatically

Troubleshooting

"API key invalid" error
  • Ensure you copied the entire API key without extra spaces
  • Check that the API key hasn't been revoked in TeamTailor
  • Generate a new API key if needed
Candidates not syncing
  • Verify the job is enabled for screening in Mokka
  • Check that the candidate has applied to an enabled job
  • Wait a few minutes - sync may be in progress
Rejection not appearing in TeamTailor
  • Ensure you selected a rejection reason
  • Wait 1-2 minutes for sync to complete
  • Check the candidate in TeamTailor to confirm status
