How Mokka uses AI in your application

A human makes every hiring decision. Here is how AI is used, what your information is used for, and your rights as a candidate.

Last updated: June 2026

Is AI deciding whether I get hired? No. A person at the company makes every hiring decision. Mokka helps the recruiter by organizing candidates, scoring how your experience matches the role's requirements, and explaining its reasoning — but it never advances, rejects, or hires anyone on its own. A recruiter reviews and decides.

What is my information used for? You're assessed on the evidence you provide — your CV, your answers, and your interview — against the requirements the employer set for the role. Mokka does not use your race, sex, ethnicity, age, or disability, and does not use stand-ins for them like your postal code. Your data is not used to train AI models.

You record my voice or video — am I judged on how I sound or look? No. If you answer by voice or video, that recording is there so a recruiter can review it, like any interview. You are scored only on the content of what you say — never on your voice, accent, or appearance. Mokka does no voiceprint matching or facial recognition.

Do I have to use the AI assessment? No. You can choose to have your application considered on your résumé alone and still be in the running. You can respond in text, voice, or video — whichever suits you — and there's no time pressure.

Can a human review my application, or can I appeal? Yes. You can ask for a human to review your application at any time. If you'd like a review, an explanation, or to raise a concern, contact the company you applied to, or email us at privacy@gomokka.com and we'll help route it.

Do you need an accommodation? If you need an adjustment to take part — more time, a different format, or anything else — let the company know, or email privacy@gomokka.com.
